Festival of Fidos at Basin Harbor Club – Saturday, May 18th (Rain Date: May 19th)

3K WALK & 5K RUN

• Grab your dog or a friend and put on your walking/running shoes to help raise money for the Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Center!
• There will be a 3K Walk and a 5K Run on the property of the beautiful Basin Harbor Club.
• The entrance fee is $15 (which includes entrance to the rest of the day’s events).   However, for those walkers/runners who raise at least $25, the entrance fee will be waived.
• T-Shirts will be given to participants who raise at least $50.
• Prizes will be awarded for fastest male and female runners (adult and senior categories).
•  Homeward Bound alumni dogs will receive an alumni bandana!

The walk/run will begin at 9:30 am .  Pre-registration available online through May 15th.  Race day registration between 8:00 am and  9:00 am.  All participants should be at site by 9:00 am

On this site, you can also create your own free webpage to raise sponsorship funds online!   If you have received cash or checks, please list those donations on this Pledge Form and bring this form and all funds with you on the day of the event.

Festival Events

After the walk/run, Basin Harbor will be host Woofstock 2013—Festival of Fidos, a full day of family and dog friendly activities from 10 am to 4 pm.   Entrance fee to the festival is $8 for adults, $4 for kids (12 & under) & $28 max per family.

Festival activities will include:

• 3K Walk and 5K Run
• Dog Demonstrations (Disc Dogs, Dock Dogs, K-9/Police Dogs and more)
• Doggie Costume Contest
• Doggie Beach
• Dog Sled Scooter Dog Rides
• Lake Champlain Cruises (dogs allowed)
• Kids Activities (Bounce House, Clown, etc.)
• Silent Auction
• Great Food
• Lots of Vendors
• Live Music
• AND a great place to relax and enjoy Vermont with or without a dog!

Weekend Packages
