Full or Part Time Veterinary Technician
We are seeing a Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position can be between 30-40 hours per week (negotiable) and will provide in-house medical care to the approximately 850 animals we serve annually and will coordinate spay/neuter and other veterinary care as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong animal handling (dogs, cats, and small animals) and restraint skills, be able to administer vaccines, draw blood, perform diagnostic testing, and have strong organizational skills. Experience in a shelter setting or with herd health management strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to work independently when required and in cooperation with our vet of record and animal care staff. Position pays competitively and benefits available.

We have an opening for a full-time Animal Care Specialist/Adoption Counselor. Animal Care Specialists are on the front line for the animals at the shelter and provide daily feeding, walking, and socializing to our residents as well as keep animal housing and maintenance areas clean and organized. Adoption Counselors provide customer service and care, match animals with prospective families, and process paperwork associated with animal surrenders and adoptions.
If you have comfort and experience working with animals and people, consider yourself detail-oriented and computer literate, and want to go home at the end of the day knowing you have made a difference, this is the job for you.
Position is 40 hours with regular weekends and offers a competitive benefit package. We are seeking a part-time veterinarian to provide weekly (1-3 hours per week) routine medical care to shelter animals. Duties include performing wellness exams and establishing treatment plans, providing rabies vaccines, euthanasia as necessary, and supporting of shelter’s full-time vet tech in managing herd health.
