Ash and Sushi were part of our family for such a short time. Their impact remains. Ash was born feral in a barn. How he managed to stand out and be different and approachable is part of what made him special. Sushi came to live with us and made fifth grade easier. She attended many classes. One was never seen without they other. They paired as family instantly. Our only solace is knowing they are together. Whatever disease took them from us so suddenly, did not separate them long. We are so grateful to the two sets of siblings we have since been blessed with through Homeward Bound.
