Whitey is a super sweet 8 year old guy who came to Homeward Bound as a stray. He is good with other cats and with respectful dogs. He is a somewhat intense “love nipper,” so we feel he would do best in a home without young children. Whitey is currently in foster care where he has claimed the 12 year old as his person- he sleeps with him every night! He has a very loud and persistent meow (we wonder if he might not hear well), so apartment living might not be ideal for him- unless your neighbors are also hard of hearing! Whitey would LOVE a home with a screened porch or a protected yard where he can have supervised time in the great outdoors, but because of his likely hearing loss he should not be outside unsupervised. He may be 8 years old, but but he still has a lot of energy- daily zoomies are a regular occurrence with Whitey! If you are looking a handsome, affectionate older cat who is full of personality, Whitey is your guy!
