Hi there, I’m Wheel, the beloved Checkered Mix rabbit here at Homeward Bound! I have a heart of gold and a penchant for my veggie treats. At 4.5 years young, I’ve perfected the art of warming peoples hearts in no time. During my stay here, I have become quite the social butterfly! You’ll often find me in the company of our reiki volunteers, basking in the bliss of relaxation as I flop on my back and roll around in sheer delight! Nestled in fuzzy blankets, or exploring new nooks, I’m all about cozy comfort and curious adventures. Nothing beats a gentle head stroke or a warm lap to snuggle in! Plus, I’m a pro at stacking cups and cracking puzzle feeders, and have even begun trick training! If you’re in search of a loyal companion who thrives on gentle interactions and tender vibes, look no further- Wheel’s the name, and charm is my game!

Cats and small animals have open visiting hours Tuesdays through Saturdays, 9:00-3:00.  Mondays are by appointment only.
