Beans is a neutered Double Mane Lionhead rabbit who is approximately 2 years old.  He is reported as having no known medical conditions, and is litterbox trained.  His owner is moving and cannot take him with her.

His owner says that Beans is an indoor rabbit who is very social, active, playful, independent and fearless!  He can also be a couch potato and quiet.  He is adventurous and an escape artist which leads to him going on adventures when his owner is not around.  Beans likes to explore and is content to be around the cats and dogs.  He plays chase with the cats.

Beans is sweet, kind, and curious.  He likes to be where you are and will sit quietly next to you.  He can be held for a bit, but when he tires of it he will let you know.  He loves fruits and vegetables and has ‘helped’ his owner put away groceries more than once!

Beans has lived with other animals – cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and other rabbits – and they peacefully coexisted.  The played together, groomed each other, and sometimes just ignored each other. He is good with gentle dogs and cats, and might bond with another rabbit after a slow introduction.  Whether Beans has been around children on a consistent basis is unknown, but hasn’t been since being with his current owner.

Beans is easy-going and would do best in a home where he can explore.  He enjoys being outside in a secure exercise pen on good weather days.
