Mars is a tough guy! He was a neighborhood cat in Vergennes with no home on his own, so he took care of himself and did a fine job of holding his own. Since coming to the shelter, we have observed Mars getting quite agitated with indoor living. He’s desperate to get back out into the world he knows.

Mars qualifies to be adopted to a business through Paws on the Job, our working cat program. He is friendly and we think he would thoroughly enjoy having a place to strut around and call his own – it’s what he knows and what he loves.
