The name Kashi means “shining” in Sanskrit and what a fitting name it is for this sweet gal.  Kashi traveled to Homeward Bound from New York City, where she was found as a stray.  During the ride over to our shelter, Kashi sat next to our staff person, with her head gently placed on her lap, occasionally looking up to view the scenery as it passed by.  Since she has been here, she has warmed our hearts with her sweet disposition and affection.   Kashi would love nothing more than a lap to nap on where she can be held comfortably in her new human’s arms. She is very interested in meeting new people, but she still has puppy-ish energy.  She will need to work on some manners such as learning to not jump or mouth.  However, if you’re looking for a young, sweet dog who loves to cuddle, go for car rides and long walks, Kashi would love the chance to shine in your home.
