Hi! My name is Julius. I’m 2.5 years old and I weigh 63 pounds. I has the wiggliest body you can imagine and will whip my tail all around out of excitement. I first came to Homeward Bound as a stray, but was later adopted out to a loving family who happened to live in a very busy area. I grew insecure in the concrete jungle with people everywhere, riding their bikes and skateboards and wearing hats and hoods. It all seemed scary to me.  Shelter staff has helped me work on my insecurities around these triggers and I’ve come far in my training. I will still need further training in my new home and someone who is strong enough to walk me on a leash.

I have previously lived with dogs, but I tend to have a rough play style, and will need proper introductions. I’m housebroken and I stay very focused on my handler during training sessions. I have a lot of energy and would do best in an active home with a fenced-in yard.
