This girl has completely stolen our hearts. She is mellow, intelligent and the biggest cuddler. She loves other big dogs and plays with gusto, but does an amazing job reading the body language of other dogs and never forces play if they aren’t into it. She certainly gains confidence and joy from being around other dogs. She is highly social and loving. She isn’t safe with cats, smalls or small livestock (chickens, ducks etc). Once she sees them running, her brain says “game on!” Josie is a 1 year old girl who needs affection, affection, affection. She is a derpy runner, but boy is she fast! She loves to explore the woods and smells outdoors. She would make an amazing running or hiking companion.

A fast learner, good with dog savvy kids 8 years and up and ready for an outdoorsy fun-filled life Josie would make the perfect dog for a home that knows how to appreciate and care for her. She isn’t a huge fan of getting into cars (she prefers to be lifted in at the moment), but once she is in a car she rides like a champ; she is quiet and just lays down.
