Meet Boo Radley.  He is a 6-1/2 year old, 47-pound, neutered terrier mix.   His previous owner became unable to care for him and 4 other pets and Boo is ready to find a new family.  He has a clean bill of health and has been kept up-to-date on his vaccines.  He is housebroken and has never acted aggressively toward a person.

Boo can best be described as active, affectionate, playful, and talkative.  He loves to play with toys, to fetch, to play with other dogs and to be in and around water.   He has lived with dogs and cats his whole life, but has not had much interaction with small children, only teens and adults.

His most perfect new family would be an active bunch who would include him in fun activities like hiking, water play, walks and playing fetch.  He needs someone to teach him basic training as he hasn’t had much and his leash manners/commands need improvement.  He’s very strong when he pulls and needs someone strong enough to handle him on the leash until he has learned his boundaries and obedience commands.  He doesn’t have these basic skills through no fault of his own.  He is not destructive and sleeps when home alone.  Previous owners were home most of the time.

Boo’s current caretaker said, “Boo is the most loving and affectionate dog on the planet.  He doesn’t have a single mean bone in his body and is eager to prove that with the world’s longest and most accurate tongue.  He has a passion for fetch and will run until his paws fall off.  He is active, but also loves to just sit on the couch for some cuddle time.  With a little more training, Boo would be a perfect dog for any family.”
