Tango’s owner writes:

Tango is a loving, affectionate girl who really enjoys attention and being close to her people. She’s a big fan of snuggles, belly rubs, and ear scrubs, and is just as happy lounging on the couch as she is getting outside. She does need daily exercise and absolutely loves time to sniff and explore. She especially enjoys running. Tango knows basic commands, though like many foxhounds she has an independent streak and doesn’t always feel compelled to follow them. She is overall very friendly with people and likes having company around. She does well with kids, particularly older or calmer ones. With other dogs, she can be a bit selective — she enjoys running around with some bigger dogs (most can’t keep up!) but doesn’t generally love small dogs. She does fine with cats in the household. She can be a bit anxious in vehicles. We love Tango dearly and this is not a decision we’re making lightly. We want to make sure she goes to a home where she’ll be happy, safe, and well cared for.

If adopted in the Brandon area, Tango’s current owner is willing to help her transition to her new home with food and outings!
