Hi there! We’re Sprinkle and Pancake- two little rats with big hearts and an even bigger bond.

We do everything together. Naptime in hammocks? Together. Forage for snacks? Together. Get the zoomies? You guessed it- together. Our favorite thing in the whole world is out-of-cage playtime, especially when our humans build us a pillow town in the bathtub. We dive in, rummage around, and pop our heads our like fuzzy little prairie dogs. It’s a rat paradise! Oh- and have you ever seen two tiny rats scramble up the stairs like it’s the Olympics? That’s us. We’re a little awkward going down, but once we get there- Zoom! Back up we go!

We’re looking for a home that’s quiet, patient, and full of love. You see, the world has been a little scary so far. I (Pancake) am nervous around hands and feel safest when you scratch me behind the ears with a toothbrush. It makes me melt! My sister Sprinkle is shy at first too, but once she trusts you, she becomes your tiny, curly-whiskered co-pilot- riding on your shoulder wherever you go, curious about the big, big world.

What we really need is someone who’s willing to put in the time to really see us, to understand that under our small frames are big, beautiful personalities just waiting to feel safe. A home that shows us, day by day, that the world isn’t such a scary place- it’s actually full of kindness, cozy spots, and love. It would mean everything to us.
