Meet Boozie! 🐾

Boozie is a 4-year-old, 70-pound sweetheart who is ready for a fresh start. After experiencing some instability in his past, he’s truly blossomed in foster care over the last month and is showing everyone what a loving, playful companion he can be.

At home, Boozie is a happy, affectionate boy who absolutely adores his toys and thrives on a consistent routine. He’s eager to learn and already knows several cues, including “sit,” “place,” “middle,” and “wait.” He enjoys having structure and responds beautifully to positive guidance. When left alone, he settles in calmly—often snoozing in his favorite chair until his people return.

Boozie loves being close to his humans and is happiest when he’s snuggled up beside you soaking in attention and affection. 💛

With other dogs, Boozie has done well on walks with both male and female companions and has shown no reactivity. After slow, thoughtful introductions, he also enjoyed a successful playdate with a female dog. He can be a bit nervous in new situations, so gradual introductions to new people, places, and pets will help him feel safe and confident.

Due to his history, Boozie would do best in an experienced, adult home committed to continuing his positive reinforcement training and providing the structure he thrives on. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Boozie has all the potential to be a deeply devoted and joyful companion.
