Macy, a service labradoodle, retired here to Vermont, during her ‘golden years.’ She was trained by her mom, Kedi ,who had brain surgery while Macy was still a young service pup.

Kedi reflects:

We all know how amazing service animals are, but Macy, Macy was something incredibly special. Her love and energy have already transcended time and space. I owe her my early independence and a shot at a semi normal life.  You gave so much and helped so many. Right now, words are short as it’s still tender knowing you’re not physically residing at the lake in Vermont. In time I will find a way to share your story. The family’s OG Hero Dog.
