Today, shy of twenty-one years by one month we lost Clarence due to kidney failure. He came to us with his brother Donovan, both feral. They were kittens born under our  stored boat and ventured to our backdoor looking for a handout. Donavan is the better mouser, but Clarence was the leader. He always had the courage to meet new people and explore new places. We will  miss him and could very much use his willingness to go forward as we try to help his brother cope with life without him.
