Charles Jimmo 2008-2025
Charles was the best cat I could have ever asked for. I will miss him the rest of my life. He was my soul cat.
A few things about Charles. He loved to play, as a kitten he liked to play with things that were too big a giant mechanical mouse that would drive away on him, he would carry it by the tail and it was so big he had to stand extra tall to drag it between his front paws. He still loved playing laser beam and feather and worm toys even at 17.
Charles also loved food, especially human food, he would beg worse then most dogs and paw my arm with every bite I took, he especially loved doritos, just like his mama. But he wanted to try everything (and he got to!)
Charles loved hard. He loved his human mom and dad and he loved his 3 brothers. He like to sit as close to our faces as he could possibly get and rub all over our chins and nose, he was the master of head butts and loved being called the baby kitty. He was such a welcoming little man when I would bring home a new kitten. All my boys had special connections with him, he was the snuggle bug of the house.
Charles was trusting and he would do anything we asked, he had to take a lot of medicine for the last 8 years of his life and he was always so good for me he would just open his mouth for the syringe, even when I had to start giving him fluids under the skin at home. He trusted me, and they made him feel better.
Charles was my best friend my whole adult life, til 2 weeks ago.
I found him when I was 19 and I will never forget the first time I saw him. His little belly wobbling as he ran to the food. I got so lucky that day, to find my best friend for the next 17 years.
I will always remember the first head butt that boy ever gave me, and the last. I will always remember the smell of his fur and the power of his purr.
