We adopted Bailey from Homeward Bound on May 3, 2019 at nine years old.  The sweetest and most patient boy, he was a ray of sunshine that we could always rely on to help clean up when we dropped food in the kitchen, eagerly greet us when we got home, or excitedly head to the free run dog park. Bailey got us through heartbreak, loss, the pandemic, a deployment, and cross country moves.  Bailey was there for our marriage and son’s first year, who still excitedly pants like Bailey did whenever he sees a picture of a dog.  He was constant and level, friendly and loyal, caring and playful.  Our lives and hearts are fuller having spent the last five years with our best friend.  Bailey, thank you for always being there for us, no matter what.
