Throughout the year, we host fundraising events to benefit the shelter. These events are a critical part of our operating budget and provide us the ability to provide all of the necessary care to each and every animal that enters our shelter. The events also support our other programs and allow us to offer many services at no cost to the community (i.e. Cruelty Response Program, Lost and Found Services, Humane Education).
Woofstock: Walk for the Animals is on!
The year we are offering a hybrid event: participants can choose to take part virtually in their own neighborhoods or by walking the 7/10 mile loop around the shelter on Boardman Street on their own between 11:00am and 2:00pm that day. This will eliminate the traditional 150+ crowd that usually starts off together. Our priority is to keep the friends of Homeward Bound safe and happy while raising critical funds for the shelter! Click here to visit the Woofstock event site for more information and to register.
