The Ultimate Dog House Contest

How to Enter: Make a donation of at least $25. Upload or type in a short essay about your dog and WHY he/she deserves this dog house. The more detail, the better, and include a photo!

About the Dog House: The house, featuring Cedar shingles and Cabot stain, was constructed and donated by three different Hannaford Career Center adult education classes, including a group of 16-24 year-olds in a summer program that provided young people with an opportunity to work on life skills and earn certificates in the trades. They were supervised by Len Schmidt, Adult Technical Education/Coop Coordinator. Interior design services were donated by Nancy Leary and The Home Shop of Brandon, with assistance from Sue Hoxie. Dimensions: 3’x5’ with a 3’x1’ bump out.

How the Winner Will Be Selected: A panel of carefully selected judges from the region will review all of the entries and the lucky winner will be announced on July 20. Transportation of the dog house will be provided within Addison County by G. Stone Motors and a personalized sign for the house will be provided by Mark Wilch.
