Willow is a dream dog. She is happy, bouncy and full of joy. She also is quiet, mellow and a lover of cuddles – she is literally a hugger. Willow came to us when her owner, due to their own life circumstances, was unable to care for Willow the way she deserved; they made the heart-wrenching decision to give her up in order to give her a better life. Willow loves to play with everyone and everything – cats, dogs and kids. She has lived with dogs of all personalities and does best with relaxed pups who don’t mind sharing and would love to sleep and play with her. She has lived with kitties with “catitude”, as well as mellow snuggle bugs; she loves them all. Being in a home with another pet to hang with would be great, but in the end she loves her humans and just wants a family who is going to spoil her rotten. She is as eager to play with toys as she is to go for a nice long hike; she will play in the water as happily as in the woods. She is excellent on leash, command trained and a soft player. She just arrived, but is definitely ready to go home. Come meet her and get ready to never let her go – she is waiting for her new forever family to come scoop her up and get her home!
