This young dog has shown resource guarding tendencies and has bitten an 8-year old boy twice, once when Shadow was chewing on a rawhide bone.  Please call the current owner for full details about these events and the triggers that might have led to these situations.

Shadow is a 13-month old, 20-pound, neutered Lemon/Silver Beagle mix.  His medical records are available and he is current on vaccinations.  He reacts negatively to fireworks, other loud/sudden noises and water.  Shadow has had home training for basic commands, and walks well on leash.  He has not lived with any other animals.

Shadow reportedly loves to play, fetch, chase and all the things young dogs generally like to do. He is an aggressive toy chewer and likes to learn new tricks for treats.  He is crated when the family is not home.

Shadow’s owner describes the best situation for Shadow as being a calm home with no children, getting lots of attention, exercise, love, and games!
