River is a big, handsome fellow who enjoys the easy life!  Despite his age and his size, he is a very playful cat who likes to explore his surroundings.  River loves sitting on a window perch watching the world outside and snoozing, but bring out the catnip and partying will ensue!  He tolerates the other cats in his community room, but would really prefer a quiet home without other pets and young children as too much chaos makes him very stressed.  If you are looking for a cat who will seek you out for attention but not be constantly underfoot, then River might just be the cat for you!
