Pep is a very active and playful pup. He had a rough start in life, but seems to be flourishing now. He can still be leery of some quick movements and has triggers around being grabbed by the collar due to his trauma, but with savvy and thoughtful ownership there is no question that his triggers can be avoided. Pep is very affectionate and playful with familiar people and unknown females – and can be wary of some unknown men but not all. Given his breed, he really needs to be using his brain and instincts each day. Pep is housebroken and has had positive behavioral training, as well as clicker training. He LOVES water and toys. He doesn’t have experience with children and will be best in an active and highly loving home.
Pep has lots of potential and is a true border collie – he’s even done some training on a sheep farm and would be an excellent farm dog! He is just honestly ready to be your best friend. If this guy sounds like he belongs in your family, reach out!
