Oliver is a handsome, sweet 10 year old chihuahua who has come a long way from his past life. He is ready for the good times ahead and is eagerly awaiting his new family! He would prefer a home in a rural setting. In his previous life he lived in a busy environment which didn’t suit him. Not being completely socialized, it was a challenge for him to navigate bustling settings without feeling overwhelmed. For this reason, as well as his new-found deep love of walks in the woods, he may do better in a rural setting. Thanks to his guardian, Oliver has grown to become much more accepting of people and dogs when out and about on walks. He was barking at strangers and he became agitated when coming across people on the sidewalks, but that has started to change with the patience and compassionate care he has received. He has been nothing but gentle and he is only going to continue to grow. Oliver would do best in a home without children. He would be perfect with a couple or a single person. He is extremely loving and he enjoys walking in the woods immensely! He is very happy to go on short or long walks. He is quite content to sleep during the day after he eats breakfast and has had a walk. He isn’t destructive when left alone and would be fine with owners a who works full time.
