Olive is a beautiful older gal who loves to spend her days snoozing in the sun!  She came to Homeward Bound because the pups in her family scared her so much she ended up living alone in the basement- that’s no place for a gorgeous gal like Olive!  Olive has lived with other cats, too, and got along fine with them.  Here at the shelter she is in a community room with other cats but isn’t really big in the social scene- she prefers to own space and to watch from afar.  Olive can be slow to come out of her shell if you don’t know the secret weapon- brushes!  She loves to be brushed so much that if you stop before she is ready she might get a little testy with you, silly girl.  If you are looking for a fastidious, quiet companion who enjoys the slow life, Olive just might be your gal!
