This little lady definitely pulls on our heartstrings. Oakley is only 5 months old and she hates to be alone. Being in shelter is so hard on her; she needs a family who can help her with her separation anxiety and build some self-confidence. She is smart and engages perfectly once she feels safe. Food is definitely the way to her tiny heart and helps earn her trust. She does well with social, kind and confident dogs. Oakley is going to need training, socialization and attentive care. Her ideal home would be one with involved, patient and gentle owners. There is nothing but opportunity lies in front of Oakley – are you the one to give it to her?

Dogs: Yes

Kids: older, dog-savvy kids as Oakley requires training and attention, so a home with small children may not be able to meet her needs

Cats: a cat chaser, but not a cat eater 🙂
