Latke is through and through a Shepherd in need of a rescue family. She has been through a lot in her 4 years and has not had a solid owner. She is desperately seeking to attach to a kind, loving, patient and trustworthy human. Currently, Latke needs a foster home that can help her feel safe and regulate her anxiety. Shelter is a difficult place for her and she is often in distress. Anyone interested in fostering, or fostering-to-adopt Latke needs to have the following:

Breed experience, no kids, no dogs, no cats, a calm home environment, ability to meet her several times here in shelter before taking her home, ability to spend large quantities of time with her and willingness to train in accordance with a behavior plan from our trainer.
