Hi, my name is Jitterbug! I’m a very curious & playful almost 2-year old female. I came to Homeward Bound about a year ago as a result of an accidental litter of bunnies and I’m more than ready to find my new home.

I’m much more like a tiny dog than a rabbit. I will follow you around the house, I know my name, and will come when you call. I absolutely LOVE to be pet all over if you are gentle and slow, especially on the inside of my ears which, according to folklore, means you will have me as a bonded best friend forever. I am completely litter box trained as I like to keep myself clean and tidy.

I have so much personality & confidence and have recently been promoted as the lobby greeter here at the shelter. I welcome people as they come in and seek attention from them. One of my favorite things to do is to kick toy balls around!

I’d like to be the only rabbit in my new home, but I get along very well with bunny friendly cats & dogs. Children would be fun to be around as long as they can be gentle with me and understand that I’m not a fan of being picked up.
