Jake is a very handsome and friendly cat who will easily fit in to a new home.  His previous guardians described him as affectionate, quiet, friendly, independent, and more like a dog.  They also said he is a couch potato and a lap cat.  He does well with other cats and did well with the dog in his previous home.  Jake did not like the active toddler he lived with but we think he would do well with children who are a bit older and mellower.  Here at shelter, he is affectionate and friendly and loves to snooze in a covered cat bed.
