My name is Jackie.  I was once a house pet, but got lost and spent many months outside fending for myself.  I’m slowly learning how to be a pet cat again, but I’m not quite there yet.  I like being pet in small doses, and I LOVE to hunt down and catch feather toys!  I’m smart and treat motivated and LOVE to learn new tricks through clicker training.  I enjoy being around people even though I absolutely detest being picked up- that said once I trust you I will climb up on your lap for treats!  My ideal home is one where there aren’t small children and where I will have a lot of opportunity for interactive play with my new guardians.  If you are looking for an independent kitty who will make a great mouser, I might just be your gal!

Jackie is part of the Jackson Galaxy Cat Pawsitive program!  Through this program she is learning all sorts of nifty tricks through clicker training, like, sit, come, high five, and jumping through hoops.  See her strut her stuff below!  In the video she practices her sit, her touch (nose to target), and shows off her progress learning to touch the target with her paw, which will evolve into giving a high five.
