Intha is a 5-month old male Teddy Bear Guinea Pig. In his previous home, he lived with other male guinea pigs and was the leader of the crew. He was housed with his good friend Ice-T (another pig here at the shelter), but because of the stressful transition to shelter-life, he has got into some quarrels with Ice-T and are now separated. We are working on re-introducing them to each other as they adjust, and are having supervised play groups with the other guinea pigs.

Intha can live with other guinea pigs, as long as he could have enough space to be independent if he felt he needed time to do his own thing. He has not lived with any other animals besides his piggy friends, but could live with small animal savvy pets. He would be a great addition into a home with children, as long as they understand how to handle small animals gently, and to take it slow while getting to know each other.

Intha is funny, sweet, and was a snuggler with his previous owner. He can be very vocal when he knows it’s veggie time as he loves his veggies!

If you are looking for a mini cuddle buddy to add to your home, Intha’s big personality is sure to make you laugh and melt your heart! Please call Homeward Bound, 802-388-1100, ext. 109, or email smalls@homewardboundanimals.org.
