This  5 year old Bassett/Blue Tick is adorable and hilarious. In his previous life he was a tie-out dog, but with the help of a caring neighbor he found his way to us. He is super food motivated, needs a bit of house training, but loves rope toys and snuggles. Hemi is half couch potato, and half your typical hound with his nose to the ground and irresistible personality. He is friendly to all he meets, is non-destructive in the home and thoroughly enjoys car rides. He is not cat-safe, so he needs a cat-free home. Because he  humps when he’s too excited, we believe he isn’t suited to be around toddlers and young ones as he may create a fall risk. He is quite simply a goofy, affectionate guy just waiting for his new family!
