This big lug just wants so much love! Gunner is everything you would expect a hound to be. He is gorgeous and endearing as well. Gunner has only previously been an outside dog as his owners left him tied out for his whole 8 years. He may never be able to be fully indoors without having at least some housetraining issues, but we are hopeful that with the right folks he can work on it. Gunner is obsessed with people – he didn’t get enough attention in his last home, but he wants nothing but TLC. He loves affection, he sniffs your face gently and gives little licks whenever you hang out with him. He has the softest ears and is a cuddle monster extraordinaire! He doesn’t seem to mind other dogs (even when they are barking right in his face), is a gentle treat-taker and of course loves to smell and explore outside. Gunner needs space to play outdoors with either a generous tie out or fenced in yard to indulge that need in him. We know that housetraining is a big issue for some folks, but this guy is exceptional and the absolute sweetest. We know there is a home out there for him to give him the best years of his life.
