Elmer is a beautiful Standard Chinchilla rabbit who is neutered.  He is a little over a year old and full of curiosity! He is eager to explore what the world has to offer outside the shelter life. He has lived in foster homes previously with cats and dogs, and got along with them. He has lived with older children and could also live with younger children who are learning how to care for pets and how to be gentle with small critters.

Elmer spends most of his time lounging in the sun spots in the Rabbit Room and munching on his favorite veggies. He is eager to figure out a variety of puzzle toys in which we put veggies – He is quite the expert at this and it’s a joy to watch!

Elmer is litterbox trained and would be an excellent candidate for a free-roam house bunny- but if free-roam is not what you’re looking for, he would be just as happy in his own enclosure, as long as he is provided with exercise outside of the pen some of the time.

If you are looking for a fuzzy-eared, twitchy-nosed, sweet young bunny, this guy is the one for you!
