Dody is a 2-year old Miniature Schnauzer who weighs 16 pounds. He has not yet been neutered because of a detected heart murmur.

Dody’s current owner describes him as very active, playful and affectionate. He knows basic commands, and loves playing with toys and other animals. He currently lives with another smaller dog and a cat who he enjoys playfully chasing around the house. He is crate-trained but should not be left at home alone in a crate for more than a couple of hours.

Children have not been a part of his daily life. Dody needs to be slowly introduced with treats and then he is fine, and will want to play with them.

His owner envisions Dody’s best life as being with a loving, active person/family who will take him wherever they go. He is very loyal and is likely to bond with one person in the home and show favoritism.
