Diesel the big goofy hound is such a wonderful dog!  Diesel is very laid-back and LOVES long walks, which provide him with the opportunity to sniff to his heart’s content!  He is affectionate and will lay his head on your lap to show his love and seek comfort.  Diesel hasn’t had prior experience with dogs but is slowly getting used to them here at the shelter and does well when they are the other side of the fence- we are continuing to assess how he does when they are brought closer together.  Diesel’s previous family said he was very friendly to people (we agree) and also to cats – he “loved” one cat in particular but was friendly to all.  Diesel is a wonderful guy looking for a family who will provide him with plenty of affection and long walks.
