Bentley is a handsome 69-pound, 2-year old Coonhound mix who needs a lot of attention and exercise. He is friendly and loves being around people. He gets overly excited sometimes and will jump when greeting people. Although he is jumpy, he is treat motivated and focuses really well when asked to sit!
Being a hound mix, Bentley needs mental stimulation such as puzzle toys, nose work and training. He also needs outdoor access. The ideal home for Bentley will be with a family who wants to put in a lot of time and dedication. He will need a cat-free home since he likes to chase them. Bentley can live with another dog, if the introduction and energy level is right. Bentley is housebroken and crate-trained, but will need some leash work. He doesn’t do well being left alone for too long.
Bentley is a fun and goofy dog who is happiest when outside and playing with his rope and squeaky toys.
