This 3 year old smarty-pants is something special. He has blossomed in a wonderful foster that has helped us learn all his strengths and quirks. He is beautiful dog with so much love to give! Apollo REALLY likes people. His foster tells us he wants nothing more than to spend days with his people: going on adventures, belly rubs, hanging out, and going on runs or walks. Apollo NEEDS a person, or family, who likes to exercise. In his current foster he is happiest when running miles each day. Exercise really helps to mellow out his high energy. He has the ability to become hyper-focused and can get super jazzed to go on intense outdoor missions of his own design. He is very interested in other dogs, but hasn’t had much experience meeting them. He definitely wants to play; he’s been both submissive and full of rambunctious play attempts. His foster feels he has never looked as happy as when he contentedly just relaxed with another pup. He is also smart and strong willed! He seems to read his foster’s mind and anticipate her needs and wants. He wants to be treated as an equal and a real part of the family. He came to us a diamond in the rough and our amazing foster has allowed for him to shine! So if you are active and looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic adventure pal, Apollo is definitely your man.
